Happy birthday to my sweet twin sis and many more!
Who's who in this photo? Sis, what do you think?
When we were young, our birthday was a national holiday . . .
No class party at school, but a family celebration with cake and candles. Sometimes we had friends over, put on party hats, and played Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Remember that game?!

Marian, happy, happy birthday! I do remember George Washington,s birthday. It was a day off from school, no matter what day of the week that was. I liked having those midweek days off. Of course, a long weekend is nice too. No matter what you do to celebrate, I hope it is fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Marian!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Marian! I remember when Washington's Birthday was a big deal, as was Lincoln's and both brought two school holidays in February.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your twin have had a very happy birthday, Marian!
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone, for your warm wishes. A good time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed your birthday. But I would have missed the donkey too - never good at that game.
