Mayflower ancestors

Hubby's five Mayflower ancestors are:

(1) Degory Priest. The family line runs through Coombs to Sarah Hatch, who married James Cushman. Their granddaughter Lydia was the mother of Harriet Taber, who married Isaiah Wood Senior in Massachusetts in 1806. Harriet and Isaiah were hubby's great-great-grandparents.

(2) Isaac Allerton, (3) Mary Norris Allerton, and (4) Mary Allerton.
Mary Allerton married Thomas Cushman of the Fortune. Their son Eleazer Cushman married Elizabeth Royal Coombs, great-granddaughter of Degory Priest, linking these ancestors to hubby's other family line from the Mayflower.

(5) Francis Cooke. His wife Hester Mahieu Cooke arrived on the Anne in 1623, with their other children. The youngest daughter, Mary, was born in Plymouth and she is my husband's Mayflower connection.

NOTE: A cousin's DNA match confirms the link with the Allertons and Mary Norris as Wood ancestors. Woo-hoo!

What was the significance of the middle name of hubby's g-g-grandfather Thomas Haskell Wood? I'm convinced it's the Mayflower connection.

Mayflower 400 in 2020 - Virtual celebrations, due to the coronavirus pandemic. But I sent sheets of Mayflower stamps to descendants in the family as a memento of their heritage.
