There are lots of comments about townfolk stopping by, who was sick when, parties and who attended, etc... I never thought about creating a name index to see if I can make some connections. I was thinking I may also make the transcription and index available to the local history society or the town library, in case it can help others doing research in that town. Thank you again for the inspiration and ideas!Kyla Bayanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13949098122420310513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3219561941481203089.post-16080826368479059842016-04-08T20:07:52.645-04:002016-04-08T20:07:52.645-04:00Jana, it's an honor to be included on your Fab...Jana, it's an honor to be included on your Fab Finds list. I know indexing seems like such an overwhelming task, but breaking it down into small steps and going slow, one thing at a time, makes it very manageable. Marian B. The index doesn't include the location of the documents but that's a SUPER idea that I'm going to include on my next update! Thanks!Marian B. I like the idea of an 'update date' so you can easily find the most recent index. Does the index include the location of the documents, journals, etc.?Colleen G.
